Since year 2007, which was the year Gina Sicilia released her first album for Vizztone, her fame as a magnificent blues and soul singer has not stopped to grow and cast herself in the first places of music scene. Since that moment Gina has been gradually expanding her repertoire to include different facets of Americana roots music, besides working with excellent musicians and renowned producers.

This new recording has been produced by Colin Linden who has immediately been in tune with Gina’s musical tastes and especially with her concept to approach gospel music, a style she has always been very fond of, as she feels very comfortable when she performs it.

The album features ten songs where blues and gospel classics combine with other more contemporary songs, which makes as a result a hypnotic work that communicates a passionate feeling, full of chromatic subtle details where, both Gina Sicilia’s voice and Colin Linden’s guitar and vocals shine at a very high level. They are backed with reliability by Johnny Dymond on bass and Bryan Owings on drums. Besides this combo you will find the distinguished collaborations of Janice Powers and Kevin McKendree on keyboards and the vocal harmonies of Ann and Regina McCrary.
