Giacomo Ferretti is an Italian guitar player, singer and songwriter coming from Pistoia area, gifted with a natural talent to play the blues. Self-taught musician, his greatest inspiration comes from 40’s and 50’s Chicago blues and Californian jump blues, although Giacomo adds a distinctive touch that gives as a result a very personal style you will discover listening to all his songs, something that makes him different from many other similar artists.

In 1998 he became member of the band Chicago Blues Revue. With them he backed and collaborated with a wide variety of North American musicians, besides doing countless tours. He has also participated in many different blues projects in Italy.

This album recorded under his own name was published in 2019 thanks to Il Popolo Del Blues and includes fifteen songs that show the variety of styles and originality Giacomo displays along the whole recording, showing he is a versatile guitar player able to drive us from the most genuine blues to jazz blues, ballads or more 70’s inspired songs. Ferretti succeeds in all them, presenting a well-produced album, performed with good taste and enough talent, thanks to Giacomo’s good work together with a band of excellent musicians.
