Ghost Town Blues Band is well known to be a band which has been booked in countless festivals from Canada to Florida In January 2014 they got the second place at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis Now they have come back to the recording studio to do this last album that, without wishing to set a precedent, has been paid with money contributions coming from all fans the band has all over the world The guys from Ghost Town Blues Band are very young, so the album showcases all the energy they communicate in their live shows, together with the original and real Memphis sound, as well as those of Stax label they know how to drive to their own field in a colourful explosion of contemporary blues, easy to assimilate, performed properly with an extreme good taste The band sounds teamed and as a homogenous block, with an unusual strength and an effective musical range of vivid sounds The band members are Matt Isbell guitar, cigar box and vocals, Preston McEwen drums and vocals, Jeremy Powell piano, Hammond B-3, Wurlitzer and vocals, Alex Piazza bass and vocals, Suavo Jones trombone, Richie Hale tenor sax and, as guest musicians, Brandon Santini harmonica and Vicki Loveland and Merry Dog Isbell backing vocals This is a more than interesting album coming from an especially genuine, innovative and really able blues band
