Georgie Bonds’ life has never been easy His younger days were full of problems In the late 70’s Georgie decided to give a turn to his life and he worked for fourteen years as a blacksmith shoeing horses It was not until the nineties where he started in music, after listening Robert Johnson’s recordings, getting immediately some local success which encouraged him to follow on But in 1994 a series of health problems drove him out of the stages, with an almost fatal reaction to medication with a kidney failure and a double hip replacement Thanks to his will power he released his first album in year 2001 His misfortunes did not finish, as a series of financial and health problems almost led him to poverty but he managed to overcome all difficulties Finally In 2015 Georgie has recovered his health and get over problems, so he comes back again with his third album, where he appears as an excellent versatile vocalist gifted with an enormous potential and a dynamic musical achievement, to prove he is able to give us a more than a very interesting album full of the best actual blues that really deserves to be taken into account
