Halfway between Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix you will find Canadian guitar player, singer and songwriter Gary Cain. The basis of his actual guitar mastery come from the marathon sessions that, as a teenager, he was doing in his parents’ basement, where he could spend more than fourteen hours practicing with the guitar, even forgetting to eat if he was nor reminded to do it.

Deeply influenced by blues great names and especially by Albert King, Gary Cain defines himself as a non-purist musician who adds to his music a variety of elements that come from early and actual rock to the most powerful, incendiary heavy music.

Semi-finalist in 2018 at the International Blues Challenge, Gary now releases this album where he sings and plays all the instruments like guitar, bass or percussion, besides drum programming, with the only support by John Lee on B3 organ in the instrumental song “A Short, Furious Goodbye” that closes the album.

Listeners who are looking for a discharge of guitar adrenaline in the path of Johnny Winter in his most rocky period, pay attention to this album because it will interest them more than they could imagine.
