Two new albums from singer and guitar player Gail Mojo Muldrow, one of the most important names of Tano Ro’s Italian agency catalogue In both cds, Live Ar Rapperswil and Peace Of Mind, she gives us her usual houserockin’ blues and funk, perfectly backed by Italian musicians on the live recording, and Patrick Ford on drums, Andy Just on harp, Dewayne Pate on bass and Italian guitar player Tizinado Galli in the studio recorded second cd Muldrow is gradually consolidating her name on music scene with firm steps, increasing energy and good done work Flaming electrifying Gail guitar solos prevail in both cds with savoury fast riffs, specially on the first one You will also find some soul influences on songs like i’ve Been Loving You (probably the best song together with Love & Happiness included in Live At Rapperswil album) where Gail and the whole band –especially Giovanni Gerretti on keyboards- perform will great taste, feeling and passion Peace of Mind cd gives a repertoire based on Chicago blues, shuffles and slow blues with cool juicy contemporary Andy Just’s harmonica phrasing and good rocking guitar work by Gail Muldrow and Tiziano Galli Rhythm section also gives a solid straight efficient work along the ten songs included on the cd In short words, Gail gives all her enthusiasm in both cds, with a very interesting vocal work and her deep intense powerful voice
