Looking for inspiration in artists like Jimi Hendrix, George Benson, BB King or Eric Clapton, and also in that time when musicians were the real owners of the creative process instead what happens now with actual technology, Gaetano Tom Letizia has get in a personal daring adventure with the aim to capture the real genuine music along this tenth album entitled Resurrection This singer, guitar player and composer usually leads a jazz trio as well as another one devoted to blues, besides a solo career of more than forty long years For this last work he has joined forces with The Underworld Blues Rock Band, a six members group with Larry Keller on bass, Steve Renco on drums, Bill Ramson on percussion and a horn section with Tim Keehn on trombone, Mike Fisher on trumpet and Bob Esterle on tenor sax The fourteen original album songs are a mixture of blues, funk, jazz, pop, reggae, Latin and rock Although Gaetano is a virtuoso guitar player, he does not monopolize all songs and he lets the other musicians to express their own creativity to complete a different very provocative work
