Singer, harmonica player and guitarist Robbert Fossen and his fellow guitar player Peter Struijk are two real and deep fans of Chicago blues They have joined forces to keep alive the spirit, the sound and the scent of sixties and seventies West Side and South Side blues in 2002 the band won the Dutch Blues Challenge competition, they were also finalists at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis and, in January 2013, Robbert Fossen was also nominated at the Blues Awards in Best Vocalist category The group is a great precise machine to perform genuine shuffles, and their repertoire is filled with songs coming from Buster Benton, Muddy Waters, Jimmy Dawkins, and especially of Magic Slim they clearly and constantly worship and venerate in their live performances as well as in this album Fossen and Struijk are backed by Eduard Nijenhuis on drums and Jan Markus on bass, two restrained powerful and effective musicians who always do what is expected of them
