From Finland comes a typical forur members blues band The musicians are Pentti Häninnen on guitar, Matti Järvi on vocals and bass, Jari Korpimaki drums and Jussi Raatikka harmonica All them do a tasteful performing displaying all their blues knowledge along different shuffles, jump and slows, so the musical menu is totally rewarding and satisfying The band performs a list of twelve songs, with compositions coming from Willie Dixon to Muddy Waters, Big Bill Broonzy, Little Walter or Roosvelt Sykes, together with some own ones In general the band suceeds with all the material they bring us, so the result is more than remarkable Their approach to the classic songs is quite faithful to the originals, so The Forest Lake Band do not surprise but, at the same time, they convince us with their good taste and a personal touch to the whole songs selection High Temperature! is a nice album that calls our attention to listen and savour it with great pleasure
