The splendid Mississippi blues singer and guitar player Floyd Lee completes and ends with this cd the trilogy he has recorded till now for Amogla record label This third cd shows Floyd Lee on top vocal form and, following the habitual straight naked blues style he normally performs that belongs to the classic patterns of the most pure Delta-Down-home blues tradition Lee is backed by Joel Puluck on guitar too, Brad Vickers on bass and legendary Sam Carr on drums, whose name make us immediately remind old Robert Nighthawk or Sonny Boy Williamson times This genuine pleasant cd captures the authentic atmosphere and the real original background of the hardest plain deep blues with no mixtures or musical effects It has been recorded live with no alternative takes, which gives as a result, as it could not be otherwise, only deep true emotional blues
