Pre-war blues runs in the veins of this formidable guitarist with a personal special voice that differs in taste and elegance from other vocalists who sing similar musical genres Born in Spain but settled in Belgium, Fernando Neris, De Ferre brings a new way of approaching rural blues, because he always communicates a great energy and a strong rocky performing De Ferre backs himself with a National Resonator which, from time to time, allows him to skilfully play slide too De Ferré gives his wide knowledge on a walk through Delta music along some own compositions but also on covers coming from Son House, Blind Boy Fuller, Sylvester Weaver, Skip James or Robert Johnson The cd was recorded live at the Auditorium of Fundación Juan March in Madrid on January 18th 2014 The album also includes a very interesting DVD Fernando Neris or, if you prefer, De Ferre, provides everything needed to get this recording deserve the recognition of the audience and media
