An artist who gives preeminence in his music to jazz, fusion and latin rhythms to blues, but he also includes some blues songs and different blues influences in this album Eric Frazier is a singer and percussion performer but, over all, he is an experienced song writer Frazier was born in Harlem and he grew up in Brooklyn, NY, where he graduated and got some masters in different Universities This cd is an ambitious project, because he always works with good economical means and gets a high musical quality Nine songs with an enormous tempo, rhythm and groove sense, where you will find different latin and funky music with jazzy influences perfectly done with percussion arrangements, while piano draws melodies and inspired phrasings, the horn section assembles it with restrained evanescent arrangements, and finally Jeremy Pelt and Maurice Brown on trumpets set their artistic criteria with different ‘hokers’ and ‘bopers’ amazing solos
