Eric Bibb is a true blues troubadour who also performs with reliability other styles like folk, African or roots music. His father Leon Bibb was an activist and fighter for Afro-american people civil rights who, together with Martin Luther King, participated in the great march to Washington on August 28, 1963. Eric grew up in that environment and soon met artists like Bob Dylan, Joan Baez or Pete Seeger. Musically his inspiration comes from musicians like Odetta, Richie Havens or Taj Mahal. With these influences Eric has built up his own style, always based on blues music although, according to his own words, he avoids being tagged, because he is always open to investigating new sounds and musical experiences.

Eric Bibb has built a solid career with forty albums released, a Grammy Award nomination and several Blues Music Awards. He currently lives in Sweden and is well known to different European audiences.

This album gathers fifteen songs that faithfully prove the versatility, good taste and elegance he always develops his music, that confirm the maturity of an artist who, in addition to a remarkable musical sensitivity, is a magnificent storyteller and a philosopher who delivers us his personal vision of the actual world we are now living, always from an intimate and poetic point of view, to make listeners appreciate blues and roots music in all their value.
