From Montreal (Canada) comes this album that can be described as different, original and very personal. The band is called Endrick & The Sandwiches and its proposal is a casual pleasant recording to enjoy during the hot summer days, mixing summertime music with blues, rap, rock and “sunny soul”, but you will also find some innovative pop and even a drop of psychedelic punk, displayed on a new and effective way along this curious album. Nine songs recorded in studio during the pandemic which become a dose of positive energy to everyone who listens to them. You will be able to feel all musicians involved in the recording sessions were in perfect harmony and musical chemistry appeared among them so, if you listen attentively to the album you will discover how much fun they had during the whole recording. The band includes Endrick Tremblay on vocals and other instruments like piano, accordion, harmonica or guitar, instruments he combines in the album songs, together with lead guitar player Greg ‘The Mack McEvoy’, while Mandela Coupal Dalgleish stays on drums together with bass player Simon Ethier. Elyze Venne-Deshaies occasionally contributes on sax and Anne Lauzière, Marie-Pier Lavallée and Gabrièle Côté Lebreux add their backing vocals and percussion here and there.
