In this last recording Swiss trio Elias Bernet Band wants to give an optimistic and cheerful vision to the varied forms of blues, even in the most intimate ballads they have included among the fifteen songs that give shape to the album.

From the first notes of “Better Off With The Blues”, song that opens and gives tittle to the album, listeners will immediately feel they need to get up and start dancing and moving their feet, because the energy and magic the trio gives off is totally infectious and immediately communicates large doses of rhythm and good vibrations.

The musicians that form the trio are Elias Bernet on piano, Hammond and vocals, Markus Fritzsche on double bass and vocals and Bernhard Egger on drums. For the recording they have also included two guest musicians Freda Goodlett on vocals and David Stauffacherr on percussion. All of them show a good musical connection and deep knowledge of the styles they perform either New Orleans rhythm & blues in the path of Professor Longhair or excellent boogie-woogie, blues and groove.
