Guitar player and singer coming from Madrid, who has hardened himself in countless gigs, as well as deep knower of blues music, Edu plays this music with intense passion and originality Listening to him is like to be suddenly driven to the deep south of Mississippi, to any place or corner of a road house or juke joint, where a quite old toothless bluesmen is playing blues Both albums have been recorded live and include a total of twenty classic songs, ten on each cd, all them performed with a deep vehement feeling, in the most orthodox primitive unpretentious style, without commercial concessions, but at the same time on a very tasteful straight and elegant way Both Edu and his Whiskey Train, Oskar Gonzalez guitar, Phineas Sanchez bass and Pino Sanbataro drums give a very special character to a collection of accurately done blues songs, as a tribute to those bluesmen who have made history and already belong to the blues history In short works, a couple of juicy very enjoyable albums, that will surely convince listeners from the very first notes of both cds
