From the lands of Lleida comes Edu Escaño’s first solo recording With a long career ahead where he has collaborated in a variety of projects, Edu has finally decided to bring us some of his most recent compositions which, rooted in blues, also develop other musical genres such as rock, folk, funk and even he shows himself as a story teller The album gathers eleven songs sung in Catalan and displayed in a simple way that will make listeners able to approach them without too many difficulties Besides Edu Escaño on vocals and guitar, the rest of the musicians who can be found in the album are Josep Berenguel on harmonica, Ramon Maci on keyboards, Josep Maria Virgili on bass and double bass, Sisco Ayala on drums and Irene Chaubell on backing vocals This is an album which has been done with honesty and enthusiasm by a brave musician, eager to project himself in the always difficult music market, especially in Catalonia area So let’s wish him good luck
