Eddie Turner is a visionary guitar monster. Considered now as one of the best guitar players of what has been defined as ‘contemporary blues’, Eddie also performs other styles like jazz or rock and he does it with reliability and professionalism. Born in Cuba and raised in Chicago, Turner discovered music listening to Muddy Waters, Jimi Hendrix or Clash. At the age of twelve he decided he would devote his life to music, so he started to play in all the venues where he was booked but, at the same time, he did not stop to learn, research and experience with new guitar sounds he is able to pull out of his guitar. Now Eddie Turner excels both the indie scene and the most experimental actual blues circuits. This recording brings us ten custom made songs where Turner can show himself not only as an advanced and creative guitar player but also as an impressive singer who can modulate and diversify his vocal tone with multiple and varied chromatic nuances that allow him to sing in a different, original and colorful way. Anyway, this time, Turner has mainly relied on lyrics content and, from the lyrics, to create and develop a kind of music perfectly adapted to the words needs.
