Backing Eddie Taylor Jr in his last album you will find Tony Palmer on second guitar, Greg McDaniel on bass, Timothy Taylor on drums, together with Harmonica Hinds and Bob Waleso on harmonica The handful of good songs that form the album cover a wide range of Chicago blues, both traditional and actual ones, with songs like Ghetto Woman by BB King where Eddie sounds stylistically similar to the great and unforgettable Fenton Robinson, or the wonderful version of Jimmy Reed’s Baby What You Want Me To Do, where the neat and crystal sound of Eddie Taylor Jr’s guitar pays tribute to his father On a big effort to adapt himself to an increasingly young audience, Eddie has modernized his style, experimenting with different pedals and guitar effects and he has really succeeded The result is a highly satisfactory album, which becomes evident in many of his rocky solos that sometimes have a gently pedal distortion, especially in Doctor Clayton’s song I Got To Find My Baby This is a good Chicago blues album if it was not for harmonica player Bob Waleso who does not contribute to a good final result and sometimes spoils the songs where he plays
