Bright and expressive singer and guitar player, Eddie Taylor Jr follows his father’s trace and devotes himself to perpetuate the most genuine real West Side Chicago blues sound The album was recorded just before he toured around Europe as member of 2007 Chicago Blues Festival Twelve superb tracks with some versions of post-war icons, such as Sonny Boy Williamson’s I My Little Machine, Arthur ‘Big Boy’ Crudup’s That’s All Right, John Lee Hooker’s I’m In The Mood or Rosco Gordon’s Just A Little Bit, together with his father’s songs and some own compositions, such as Goodbye Willie Kent, where he pays tribute to his good friend singer and bass player Willie Kent who unfortunately passed away All songs included on the cd have Taylor’s particular and original performing style, perfectly backed by Tim Taylor on drums, Harmonica Hinds on harp, Gregg McDaniel on bass, Anthony Palmer as second guitar player and Demetria Taylor, vocals on Mama, He Treats Your Daughter Mean A good album to enjoy pure Chicago blues
