Eddie Martin passionately loves Afroamerican music In his younger days he was deeply influenced by British blues and pop music but little by little he moved to a more acoustic and traditional style, especially Mississippi one In this album Eddie and his band explore the old tradition, mixing the most contemporary acoustic rock with a new vision of twenty-first century folk-country-blues and they do it with great conviction, cleverness and good taste In this recording Eddie has included the special collaboration of The Jubilation Gospel Choir which helps to enhance the songs they play The experiment of combining a gospel choir singing blues music and acoustic rock has been a challenge for them, but they have solved it with a very satisfactory final result The band musicians are Eddie Martin on guitars, harmonica and vocals, Alberto Gurrisi on keyboards, Marco Bachi on bass and double bass, Michela Lombardi on vocals, Luca Giovacchini on guitar, banjo and mandolin, Matteo Sodini on drums, Olalekan Babalola on percussion and the just mentioned Jubilation Gospel Choir
