Born in June 1996, Brooks Mason got his first guitar at the age of six. He soon discovered he was much more interested in listening and learning from artists like Sean Costello, Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Freddie King or Rory Gallagher than to the pop music that was in fashion among his classmates. At 15 he left school and began playing in cover bands, founding his own one with the name of Eddie 9 Volt.

From a very young age Eddie had deeply admired legendary Capricon studios, founded in 1969 in Macon, Georgia, where such great names like The Allman Brothers, Marshall Tucker, Johnny Jenkins, Percy Sledge or Bonnie Bramlett among many others usually recorded there.

After releasing two albums, Eddie’s dream has come true with this third album that, of course, has been recorded at Capricon Studios. According to Eddie’s own words, the studio has not changed a single detail from the 70’s and the atmosphere that was breathed there communicates all the feeling of the great artists who delivered their music among those four walls, infecting Eddie and all the rest of the participant musicians from the first moment they stepped into the studio, making them feel totally imbued and identified with the spirit of the music that was recorded in those incredible years.

A total of eleven own songs give shape to an album that reflects the magic of a music that highlights Eddie 9V’s knowledge and huge musical possibilities, tastefully performed by a true ‘killer’ on guitar and vocals, together with a good number of magnificent musicians.
