As days go on, singer Ed Maly consolidates his fame as ‘the incredible white voice of blues, soul and Texas music’ For many years Ed has played in almost every Austin, Dallas or Forth Worth clubs and joints His voice expands and fills every place he performs, leaving a trail of real explosive and genuine roots music For this new album entitled Texas Girl, Ed has counted with amazing musicians like keyboard player John Blau in most tracks, guitar players Keith Cannon and Larry Scott, bass player Don Irby who also sings in one song and drummer Mike Snelling They are joined by some excellent guests in different cuts as is the case of sax player Eric Demmer among others Of course with his attractive voice Ed Maly gives shape and life to all songs, except on a couple of them, as well as playing electric and acoustic guitar along the whole recording The album gathers a bit of everything, from Americana to country rock, some real blues and roadhouse blues This is an excellent album, full of energy and good vibrations
