Eb Davis is a terrific rocky afroamerican singer with an outstanding performing strength He was born in the south of the United States and grew up in Memphis TN, where he was able to listen and see his youth musical heroes such as Bobby Bland, Junior Parker, BB King and Albert King, whom he shared stage on different jam sessions that took place at Memphis Handy Park He was so deeply impressed by all those musicians and their fascinating music that he decided to assume the risky work of devoting his life to become a blues, soul and rhythm and blues singer During the sixties he and his band, The Soulgrovers, opened for Rufus Thomas, Wilson Picket, Isaac Hayes or Ray Charles among others Quite a long time ago he settled in Berlin where he has become one of the greatest soul/blues European ambassadors Enjoy Live At The A-Trane with the powerful magic of a passionate singer who also displays an intense stage magnetism
