Here comes a great album by a fantastic singer who has worked with Otis Grand and Paul Lamb among others. Earl Green fans were expectantly looking forward to this new album recorded live from The Bronte Blues Club and I’m sure the cd has not disappointed them. The album collects and captures the exciting sound and warm atmosphere of that special night. The musicians who backed the powerful well pitched voice of Earl Green were The Right Time, with Ron Warshow and Les Back guitars, Mike Paice harmonica and sax, Emil Engström bass and Daniel Strittmatter drums. Twelve faultless songs where the feeling overflows in every cut, from the classic slow blues, “It’s My Own Fault”, to “T-Bone Shuffle” by T-Bone Walker, or “Danger Zone” by Curtis Mayfield and the rest of the song list including “Done Somebody Wrong”, “No More Doggin'”, “Anything It Takes” by Duke Robillard… etc. In short words it is a powerful strong cd which certainly will not disappoint you.
