Founder of Roomful Of Blues with piano player Al Copley, prominent member in The Fabulous Thunderbirds, replacing Jimmy Vaughan in 1990, guitar player Duke Robillard needs no introduction, as he is one of jump blues, swing-rock and West Coast rhythm and blues most legendary names.

M.C. Records, founded by Mark Carpentieri, now presents Duke Robillard’s last recording, where he is backed by his All-Star Band which, this time, includes Chris Cote on vocals, Bruce Bears on piano and organ, Doug James on tenor and baritone sax, Marty Ballou on electric and acoustic bass and Mark Teixeira on drums, with the special collaboration of Katie Shore on fiddle in the song “Watching The River Flow”.

Twelve songs permeate the whole recording with an amazing intensity and a delightful sound, cleverly developing all the just mentioned musical elements, highlighting different versions of well-known songs like “Watching The River Flow” coming from Bob Dylan, “I’m Gonna’ Be A Wheel Someday” by Fats Domino, “Take Your Fine Frame Home” by Ike Turner, “Lovin’ You” by Lowell Fuslon or “Rumble” by Link Wray among others.

Once again Duke Robillard’s guitar and voice together with the whole band will move and catch us with the high communication level that immediately get with most listeners who, once again, will feel captivated by the music included in Robillard’s new recording.
