Guitar player and singer Dudley Taft grew up in Cincinnati listening to all kinds of music. He attended Berklee School of Music and was member of various grunge groups like Sweet Water and Second Coming touring internationally. From then on, he has developed a fruitful career leading his own group Dudley Taft Blues Overkill with musicians from the Seattle area, also producing eight of his own albums. Taft now lives in a house he bought from Peter Frampton which also has a magnificent recording studio.

This album has been recorded in this home studio and becomes a guitar tribute, the instrument Dudley owes all his fame and fortune. Along the eleven album songs Taft shows his biggest influences that are none other ones than blues, rock, metal, trash or country. With such seminal styles it is not surprising the album will impress from the beginning to end to all lovers of the most incendiary aggressive guitars full of an exuberant stylism and really explosive pirouettes.

The recording also features Kasey Williams on bass, drummers Alex Dungan and Nick Owisanka, Andy Smith on keyboards and the collaborations of John Kessler on bass in one song, Walfredo Reyes Jr. on percussion also in one song and Ashley Charmae on vocals in three songs.
