Óscar Alcaraz is certainly one of the most requested drummers of Valencia blues scene. He has collaborated with countless groups and participated in many different projects, as well as publishing an instructive drum method.

After putting his drums to the service of a wide variety of bands, now Óscar wants to pay tribute to all the musicians, colleagues and friends, by releasing an album where he has selected some songs coming from different groups he has been working with behind the drums and shared with them.

The first four songs, the best ones in the album, were recorded on studio. Two of them belong to Los Fabulosos Blueshakers and the other two to Harmonica Frank & King Bees, and become a good and exciting representation of the best Valencia blues. The rest of the songs until getting the number of twelve have been collected from live recordings from various clubs and bars in the area, so the quality of them could frankly be improved, as it does not allow to completely appreciate the good work of bands like Nano Blues Band, Nasty Boogie, The Blues-Tamers or Altea Blues Project.

An interesting album for its spontaneity which, thanks to Óscar Alcaraz, makes us feel the atmosphere you will find in many weekend clubs, where you can see and listen to musicians and bands which, with their effort and dedication, communicate and keep the blues alive in Valencia.
