Get ready to really enjoy with the new album of legendary Downchild, a cult blues band in Canada and in many other countries too For about fifty years, the band great music has given joy to different generations of rockin’ blues fans Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi looked for inspiration in his music and they even did a couple of versions of Downchild songs Shotgun Blues and (I Got Everything I Need) Almost Despite they are now veterans and a long time has gone by, they still sound fresh, greased and as natural as in the early years, so it is always a pleasure to have the opportunity to listen to every new album they regularly bring to all their fans and followers Ten songs full of those rocky and greasy roadhouse blues so common in their repertoire, where Donnie ‘Mr Downchild’ Walsh on guitar and harmonica, Chuck Jackson on vocals and harmonica, Pat Carey on tenor and baritone sax, Michael Fontana on piano, organ and dobro, Gary Kendall on bass and Mike Fitzpatrick on drums get together to give us an able vigorous new work that will delight their faithful fans who have followed them for more that forty years, but also to all those followers sons and even their grandchildren to, in this way, keep alive the blues flame among the younger generations
