Here comes the third recording of one of the new young Canadian folk-blues artists Doug sings and plays accoustic ‘slide’ guitar and he is deeply influenced by all rural Mississippi and Eastern bluesmen You will find lots of Reverend Gary Davis, Fred McDowell, Son House or Mississippi John Hurt deep traces in all his compositions His vocal skills, together with the way he undertakes songs, remind the early Bob Dylan`s recordings Although he surely is rather unknown for many readers, Doug has a long experience on rural blues, as he has often shared stage with John Hammond, Buddy Guy, BB King and many more
