Doug Macleod is a prolific songwriter, gifted with a fluent dynamic and fierce speech, but also he is a cutting excellent singer Doug is also is a skilled guitar player and a story teller who immediately calls listeners attention, thanks to the undeniable interest of what he tells us, he knows to wrap it with a vehement grace As it could not be otherwise, in this new album he gives us a handful of biting cutting songs, coming from his rich and clever imagination that can hardly go unnoticed In these songs he deals with subjects like violence, child abuse, love, passion or human relationships, always focused from a satirical point of view that sometimes becomes sublime, politically incorrect or even extemporaneous The album was co-produced by Janice Mancuso and Doug Macleod himself Some songs include other musicians like Denny Croy on bass, Jimmy Bott on drums and Oliver Brown on percussion, while the rest present Doug MacLeod singing alone only backed by his acoustic guitar The album was recorded live with no alternative takes and overdubs
