Donna Herula is a skilled singer, songwriter and guitar player who knows in equal parts acoustic guitar technique and slide. She mastery communicates the genuine acoustic Delta blues as well as Piedmont or New Orleans sounds, not to mention Hill Country blues, folk and Americana roots music. For the last ten years Donna has performed regularly at Buddy Guy’s Legends club in Chicago and she has often opened for Buddy Guy’s sets. She is also a fingerpickin’ and slide guitar teacher at the Old Town School Of Folk Music in Chicago. With her husband Tony Nardiello they have just released their third album with fourteen songs that move among the just mentioned styles.
