This last work of German harp player Dieter Kropp work is quite similar to his other records and again can be qualified as a serious work but, at the same time, as a joyful pleasant enjoyable cd This time he is backed by The Fabulous Barbecue Boys who, although they are not The Red Hot Blues Band that backed him in his previous cd, show a high musical level giving a good performing on all tunes included on the cd which makes Dieter feel comfortable and relaxed Musically speaking the cd follows the same patterns than his previous one, that is to say good shuffles, swing and jumps and even swampy boogies like I Got Love If You Want It Dieter Kropp gives a powerful straight bright harp blowing keeping the same high harp phrasing level expected after hearing and enjoying his preciding work This is the reason why Seven Nights has not disappointed me at all
