The story of how these two musicians met is as follows: about two years ago, in July, Dick was in an Amsterdam pub There he met Mat who was also drinking a beer They began to talk and they realized they not only shared the passion for the blues but also they both were musicians, as Mat Walklate played harmonica and Dick Farrelly guitar, so they began to play and jam together until wee hours in the morning When they realized what time it was they decided that it was already time to go to sleep, but they said they would meet again the following day and start plans to record an album together And here is the final result of that endless night which finished with the release of this cd Ten songs based on acoustic guitar, harmonica and vocals, with over half an hour of music You will find a bunch of traditional songs they have done all arrangements, together with a couple of both musicians own songs
