Born in Baltimore County, Maryland, singer, guitar player and songwriter Dennis Jones got a deep interest on guitar when he was thirteen years old During his teenager years he lived in Europe where he began to play and collect influences from musicians like Billy F Gibbons, Jimi Hendrix or Jimmy Page, learning from them most of his knowledge and exceptional technique As Zac Harmon’s band member he won the International Blues Challenge in 2004, and afterwards he started his solo career This album began to take shape in February 2020 but, due to Covid-19 pandemic, Dennis had time enough to round up most of the compositions, arrangements and lyrics of the ten songs included on it, that drive us to different music styles like blues, rhythm & blues, reggae or the most powerful and pyrotechnic rock riffs Together with Dennis Jones on guitar and vocals you will also find Cornelius Mims on bass, keyboards, percussion and vocals and Raymond Johnson on drums, plus the contribution of B3 organ players Bennett Paysinger and Jason Freeman, each one in one song, and the vocal harmonies of Allison August and Michael Turner in the song Nothin’ On You
