From Los Angeles, California, Dennis Jones comes with his fifth album, a collection of thirteen own songs performed in a really incendiary, electrifying and deeply rooted rock-blues, plus a powerful vital soul music that will certainly surprise more than one Dennis became well known as Zac Harmon’s band musician In 2004 he won with them the International Blues Challenge that every year organizes The Blues Foundation in Memphis, Tennessee Afterwards he started a successful solo career that led him to become one of the benchmarks in Californian scene In this new project he has just released, he is backed by a powerful well teamed rhythm section with Dale Black on bass and Raymond Johnson on drums Dennis has also counted with the valuable collaboration of Jommy Z Zavala on sax and harmonica and Teddy Zigzag on Hammond B-3 With noticeable influences of Albert King, BB King, Jimi Hendrix or Jimmy Page, his music is firmly rooted in the near past, but his technique and soul are also connected to the most immediate present and the upcoming future
