As I have mentioned before, the power of a trio with only guitar, bass and drums has always been the cornerstone that gave birth to such outstanding bands like Cream, ZZ Top, Steve Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble or Jimi Hendrix, to name just four of the many groups which have chosen to have this number of musicians Dennis Jones has decided to keep this format for his new work, that includes a selection of fourteen songs that come from other previous albums, thirteen own compositions plus the classic Born Under A Bad Sign coming from the great Albert King All these songs get a new life mostly thanks to a renewed way of performing them, where a bewitching remarkable guitar work gets the main relevance, to delight all those fans of passionate incendiary guitars and riffs where fingers speed becomes so important as the song melodies Dennis Jones on guitar and vocals, Sam Correa on bass and backing vocals and Raymond Johnson on drums give shape and colour to an album that will be a gift for most power blues followers
