Dennis Jones and his band prove their high interpretative level with this recently released dvd, published at the same time of his new cd entitled My Kinda Blues In this Live At Temecula Theater, Dennis Jones gathers eighteen impressive, straight and effective songs All the material he plays was included in his previous albums Pleasure And Pain, Passion For The Blues, Falling Up and the song The Best That I Can belongs to his new work My Kinda Blues recorded for the Blue Rock Records, as were all his previous records Jones leads the trio with determination and charisma, performing all songs with an ease comfortable adaptability, putting in the first place along the whole show the strong vocal expression and the intense guitar playing The result is a sumptuous precise sound, enriched with Les Paul and Stratocaster guitars, he plays with a clever approach, choosing them according to the kind of song and the sound required to express a deep feeling, instead to do it by chance, because everything is controlled to the smallest details Michael Turner on drums and Sam Correa on bass form a firm able duo, with commitment enough to provide the beat and the teamed strong support to make Dennis feel totally ease on stage to present us an skillfully good show
