It was a long time that I have not heard a white blues band playing and, especially, getting out real fifties Chicago blues sound Dennis Gruenling blows with such precise style that sometimes he even exceeds the original ones (and I know that what I am saying) Gruenling has managed to sound exactly as the masters did, that is to say, when he plays chromatic he sounds like George Smith, on acoustic he sounds like Sonny Boy Williamson and on amplified diatonic harp he sounds like Little Walter Believe mem he is brilliant Sandy Mack vocal abilities are extremely good too, with a vocal range in the path of John Hammond or at least this is my personal impression Al album that will satisfy all Chicago blues fans expectations where harmonica becomes his main resource
