Demian is an Argentinian singer and guitar player now settled in Spain. He brings us a new very much waited album, as his previous cd “Heavy Blues” was published four or five years ago. In this “Bull Blues”, Demian shows a more musical and artistic maturity. Obviously, now he feels very comfortable and self assured, because he brings a more personal and well elaborated own sound, also including some elements of different musicians he admires, which cover such varied styles as blues, heavy, rock or even classical music, that have fed Demian along the years he has been involved into music. “Bull Blues” cd pays homage to Jimi Hendrix with the song ‘Little Wing’, but he also reflects different influences of the artists he deeply admires such as Muddy Waters, SRV, Steve Vay, Joe Satriani, Leslie West, Van Halen or he even approaches Johnny Winter in three own songs “La vida pesa en oro lo que da”, “Lejos” and “Sigo”. Better guitar player than singer, Demian Domínguez gives us fourteen own songs sung in Spanish on a trio format. In short words, I dare say Demian will not let you indifferent.
