Singer Beb Rhymer is well known in western Canada where, as well as playing at festivals and clubs, she regularly leads various jams that take place along northwest Pacific coast This has given her the chance to meet good musicians to include in her band who, not only perform a repertoire but also feel it as their own These musicians are Andy Graffiti on drums, Clayton O’Howe on bass and Kelly Fawcett on guitar Together they have worked in this album which includes six original songs and four versions, where you will also find different guest musicians in some songs, some of them hardened at the usual just mentioned jams, such as David Vest on piano, Wynn Gogol on keyboards, Gene Hardy on sax, Bill Johnson and Neil Taylor on guitars, Randy Oxford on trombone and Gart Preston on harmonica A bunch of songs based on West Cast sound spiced with Chicago blues, where Deb Rhymer presents herself with authority, showing her remarkable vocal qualities, sometimes strong and raw, sometimes sweet and sophisticated
