One more time these musicians are in full work and come with their new work on his hands The cd is an explosive mixture of Chicago west side blues and a small touch of southern soul in the path of Bobby Rush and Little Milton The album opens with an excellent version of the song It Serves Me Right To Suffer in the way that is now performed by Jimmy Johnson and Dave Specter, although De 2 En Blues Band include a terrific horn section, The Broken Horns, which provide a powerful solemnity and make it sound really attractive The band musicians are Miguel ‘Lawyer’ González, vocals and tambourine, Alfredo ‘Benjamin Divo’ Moses drums and vocals, Mariano ‘Betts’ Berastegui (he really likes Dicky Betts) guitar, Patxi ‘O’Clock’ Ruiz harmonica, rhythm guitar and vocals, Sergio ‘Longfingers’ Pérez bass and Alberto ‘Skualo’ Navascués keyboards Also mention The Broken Horns with Alberto Arteta tenor sax, Ion Celestino trumpet and Iñaki Rodriguez baritone sax, together with the backing voices of Mª Fé Cortés and Arantxa Ojeta A good album, with a tasteful professional work, done with love and charm by these good musicians who have given the best of themselves and great commitment to round up this new project
