During the long confinement period many musicians could devote themselves to experiment, research and look for new sounds in their music. Drummer and composer Jim Casson (Downchild, Dark Orchard, Maple Blues Band, Mighty Duck Blues Band, Hogtown AllStars, Johnny Max Band) brings his new project where he has especially focused on composition, helped by some of the most outstanding Canadian jazz and blues musicians. Starting from drums improvisations together with bass structural lines and selecting the chords he could best integrate into the initial drums parts, Jim edited this material giving the shape and the necessary harmonies to make everything be in its right place, as you will see in the final result. Yhe process ended by adding the melodies and solos of the rest of the musicians who participated in the project, a project Jim Casson has named Davis Hall & The Green Lanterns, being Davis Hall the name of his first hometown nursery and The Green Lanters the soda and candy shop he used to go when he was a kid. The album gathers ten instrumental songs, each one with the actual or former name of some villages in the Niagara Peninsula in Canada.
