Singer and guitar player Davis Cohen last piece of work was recorded at Nightsound studios in Carrboro, North Carolina in the beginning of December 2007 The backing musicians were Joe Izzo on drums, Trevor Coen and Ben Palmer on bass, Adrian Duke on piano and the Lance Ashley on organ as guest musician in three cuts In many aspects it is a very interesting cd to wide audiences Eleven songs, five traditional ones, such as CC Rider, Down In The Alley or Jack Of Diamonds, together with some Cohen’s own songs plus a Professor Longhair’s version and Bob Willis’ Don’t Let Your Deal Go Down In short words, an excellent work which strengths him on folk rock and roots blues fields
