This is an interesting proposal David Owen brings us He is a musician with a powerful expressive sensitivity to perform the blues that will pleasantly surprise more than one Finally David Owen has come back to the studios to record his third album The true thing is that since year 2007 he had not published anything new, so now he has decided it was the right time to start moving on and do it To complete his project, this singer, composer, arranger, guitar and harmonica player has been surrounded by Alec Fraser on bass and vocals and Jimmy Bowskill on violin, viola, mandolin, pedal steel, electric guitar and vocals These three musicians plus the excellent production of Gary Kendall (Downchild), have achieved a pleasantly surprising and very rewarding album, where the trio give us a unique original repertoire, full of new blues, folk and roots music I dare say this work will relaunch David Owen’s career and will call the attention of all listeners interested in these musical genres, thanks to the honesty and good work of this able musician
