Only aged six, David Lumsden asked his father to buy a record with Henry Mancini’s soundtrack music of the TV show Peter Gunn Four years later he got his first guitar and he became deeply impressed by the famous British Blues revolution and he especially loved legendary The Yardbirds When he was fifteen a friend lent him Getting Ready by Freddie King and since that moment David Lumsden’s life did a complete turn David never returned that record to his owner, as it became a reverence object and made him decide to combine his daily work with playing guitar, developing an interesting musical career For several years David has been lead guitar player for singer Hurricane Ruth Now David publishes his new album where he has invited some friends and good musicians to help him to round up it, like Bill Evans, Wayne Carter, Reggie Britton, Mary Jo Curry, Steve The Harp Mehlberg and Andon Davis All together they have cooked a blues album according to the actual times, with a mixture of British and Chicago blues, ingredients that the musicians perfectly know how to develop because they are totally assimilated in their minds
