Excellent singer, composer and pianist, David Egan offers us an splendid relevant album performed with an amazing feeling, where he precisely and tastefully mixes different faces of blues, all spiced with soul, groove, jazz and other related kinds of music he perfectly knows David Egan communicates solemnity and passion along the twelve songs that have been chosen for the cd And he has done it together with a bunch of committed very professional musicians Besides David Egan on vocals, piano and organ, you will also find Mike Sipos drums, Ron Eoff bass, Joe McMahan, Bruce McDonald, Lil’ Buck Senegal and Buddy Flett guitars, Dickie Landry saxos, Mike Dillon percussion and the backing vocals of Roddie Romero and Caleb Elliot A superb album, very well recorded and produced, played with a remarkable authority and fervor you will certainly love Also mention David Egan shares the spirit of piano player Charles Brown in a couple of songs
