Only aged twelve in his hometown Newport, South Wales in UK, singer, guitar player and songwriter Dave Thomas was strongly attracted by blues. After belonging to some progressive rock bands of that area, Dave moved to London where he soon decided that blues was definitely the way he wanted to follow. From then on, Dave has developed an intense career both in United Kingdom and USA, singing at the Chicago Blues Festival and sharing stage with big American blues stars.

Although he combines his recordings, publishing both rock and blues albums, this time he brings us a new work totally focused into this last one, which includes twelve the band own compositions, plus a version of the classic “Memphis Tennessee” coming from Chuck Berry. To do so he has counted with James Goodwin on piano, Gareth Tucker on harmonica, Phil Marshall and Michael Smith on sax, John Thirkell on trumpet, Steve Jinks on bass, drums, percussion and vocals and, of course, commanding this blues ship Dave Thomas on vocals, guitar and harmonica.

An intimate journey to the heart of the music developed by an artist who likes to feel and perform the blues with the enthusiasm of a young beginner.
