Since 2017 Dave Arcari had not released any new recording. Fortunately, this British singer and guitar player now presents his latest work with eleven songs, nine of them own compositions he wrote during the last two years, together with two versions “Meet Me In The City” coming from Junior Kimbrough and the traditional “Nine Pound Hammer”.

For recording some of these songs Dave wanted to count with the participation of some guest artists. He could materialize it thanks to Help Musicians, a non-profit organization that helps musicians in the United Kingdom. The help they give is not only a financial one, but they also provide support and advice to musicians in order to optimize the resources available and guide them in order they can build a fruitful career. Thanks to this organization, Dave Arcari has been able to overcome the difficulties caused to his career by the pandemic and present now this new album.

Country blues, ballads or Mississippi North County Hill blues go hand in hand in this strong album where Dave has put all his expectations, new ideas and dreams, that counts with the valuable collaboration of Chris McMullan on drums, Jamie Wilson on violin and electric wah-wah violin, Jim Harcus on harmonica and a big backing vocal chorus of about thirteen voices in the song “Loch Lomond”.
