The great Darrel Nulish comes back with his second cd recording, like the previous one, for Severn Records He devotes himself to singing rather than playing harp, the small instrument he is a real master player (remember when he was, quite a long time ago, singer and harmonica player in Anson Funderburgh’s band) The album is an interesting summary of different styles, such as blues, soft-soul, ballads or rhythm & blues Darrel is perfectly backed by an excellent rhythm section and the horn arrangements are delicious So this is a very good album that gives us the opportunity to enjoy a great singer, Now I wonder if Darrell is influenced by Sugar Ray Norcia or, is Sugar Ray who has been influenced by Darrell?
